A century ago





A hundred years ago, there was another Winston Churchill topping the bestseller lists.

The first narrative picture shot in Los Angeles, the Count of Monte Cristo, is a product of 1908.

Young Turks were shaking things up.

A horse called Sir Martin
was doing it for the punters.

And the Canadians came up with Marquis wheat.
